Clearing out the attic or cellar, or are you just having a spring clean? Holden Wood antiques offers free professional valuations, and we love to purchase interesting items.

We are not just interested in purchasing traditional antiques, such as furniture, ceramics, glass, paintings, gold and silver, jewellery, watches, books, oriental items and militaria - We also love to buy more unusual and interesting items, such as early photographs, postcards, documents, letters, industrial items, scientific items, old promotional and display items.

We are interested in most things which tell a story or are related to local history, social history or industrial history.

Written valuations for insurance

Not sure if you need to list items separately on an insurance policy? Talk to us about your items and we can advise if it needs to be listed separately and if you need a written valuation for insurance. If it does need listing we can provide written valuations to help document their value.

Valuations for Probate

Holden Wood Antiques have been providing probate valuations of house contents for over 20 years in a professional and sensitive manner. We work to your requirement to provide the requirements for probate and for family members.

We also offer to purchase full or partial contents or single items. We arrange transport and settle promptly without the need for public auctions and paying commissions.
